"....It is much easier for women to become enlightened than it is for men. A woman's subtle physical body accepts light, in this world, much more readily than does a man's. It seems a curious fact, therefore, that throughout the history of spirituality on this planet, there have been very few enlightened women. There are number of reasons for this, and whether you are a man or a woman, it's essential you understand them.
On the deepest level there is no difference between men and women. Each individual has a soul. Each individual contains Spirit within itself. The soul is neither masculine or feminine. It is both. Yet in a particular lifetime, we manifest as one or the other gender. The physical bodies of men and women are different, and so are the subtle physical bodies. As a woman, it is vital that you understand the differences, because it affects you more than you realize. All subtle physical bodies are composed of luminous fibers of light. The subtle physical body of a man is denser, more fixed, more tightly packed. The subtle physical body of a woman is more pliant. It conducts light or vibrates with light at a different rate. Women are essentially much more powerful than men. The kundalini flows through them more readily, so, in my estimation, it is easier for a woman to absorb light, change, and evolve....
The problems are really very few...but in order for you to understand the importance of the subtle physical body, you need to understand that a woman's essence is power. The primary reason so few women attain enlightenment is that they have a misunderstanding of their purpose as women. Women think of themselves as being...well, women. And you are not. You have a preconceived notion of what it means to be a woman. This notion is incorrect. It has been given to you by society, history, men and other women.
Everything is reversed in this age. Men appear to be more powerful than women, but in reality the opposite is true.. As a woman, you must realize that you have everything you need within you. Women have become dependent upon men. They feel that they have to draw power from a man. They build their identities around men or around their children and, in doing so, they do themselves, all other women, and all men an injustice. You must realize that your true aspect is power. If you think yourself as being feminine---in the sense of being weak, genteel, constantly self-effacing, always cleaning up after others---then you misunderstand your power and your purpose.
While a woman's subtle body being pliant is her strength, it is also her biggest problem. In this age, destructive energies are very powerful. If the energy is good, a spiritually oriented woman will progress swiftly. If the energy is bad, it will be just the opposite. Men are not as affected by the vibratory forces of this world. For women, these destructive energies are a huge problem. The damage that occurs to the subtle physical body of a woman occurs in several ways. Most of it sexual. Most women lose their power in sexual relationships or by being exposed to the lower sexual energies of men. Sexuality is neither good or bad. It depends on how you approach it. But for most men, sexuality is filled with violence. during the act of sex, many men become angry. They often hate the women their having sex with. There's this need to conquer, to assert your identity, and it is because men are afraid of the power of women. They sense this tremendous power and, rather than fostering it or accessing it, they want to control it. They're afraid of their own impotence, afraid of the womb that bore them.
This sort of unrefined masculine energy enter easily into a woman when there is a sexual relationship because women readily affix themselve to men. When a woman falls in love, she thinks constantly about the man she is in love with. And when she does, she affixes herself to his consciousness psychically. Whatever is in his consciousness will enter into her consciousness. If there are a number of destructive or, let's say, high-velocity forces in a man's consciousness---forces which perhaps a man's subtle physical body can handle---then the woman draws those forces into herself. And while they many not destroy the man's spiritual potential, they will destroy hers.
You must understand that there is no good or bad. Men are not better. Women are not better. We are all children of God, and we are all following the path to Light. There is no fault here. I don't see that men are more to blame than women. Both have allowed this to happen. But we have to understand the operative conditions of the universe. it is men who make the wars. It is men who are interested---by and large---in hatred and killing. And these types of unstable energies manifest because men are afraid of their feminine side. If they could accept their feminine side, their own femaleness, then there would be balance.
On the other hand, women allow this to happen. They foster an image of being weaker. They want to be taken care of to a certain extent. They want a daddy. They want someone to make decisions for them. They don't want to claim their own power and intensity. They CHOOSE attachment to family instead of pursuit of enlightenment. And women don't support other women---they're jealous, they're vindictive, simply because the don't realize that they have enough power within themselves. If they did, they could enjoy other women. They would understand that it's not necessary to compete with other women for a male.
In order for women to attain enlightenment it is important to break up patterns. For this meditation is a key factor. By meditating each day, you become stronger, clearer, and purer. There are two types of yogas that work best for women. The first is karma yoga. The second is mysticism. In karma yoga, through selfless giving, a woman accesses her power. Then as her power increases, the path of mysticism opens itself to her. For men, bhakti yoga, the yoga of love & devotion, is the best. It stabilizes their energy and is the natural choice for their earlier years. Then men graduate to jyanna yoga, the yoga of discrimination where they learn that is necessary to give up even love, to move into the Void. Learn all four yogas, but understand that there are certain pathways that are easier for men and women.
As women, you need to get beyond that feeling that you have to be nice, that it's okay to let people walk all over you. You don't help men by allowing them to do that. It actually fixates them in a bad state of consciousness. Whenever you allow someone to abuse you, you're not their friend, because you're allowing them to incur bad karma.
Also, women are conditioned to manipulate men. And it's understandable in a world where women have been denied the right to education, to spiritual advancement, the right to vote, to own property...In a world where women are property, everything is contingent on winning the best possible husband. The well-being of her children and safety depends upon the husband. So through the years, women have been systematically programmed to manipulate men, using the mystical side of their being. They psychically wrap the man they are interested in. This is skill is passed down from one generation to another. The little girl is taught early on how to dresss, how to walk, how to move her eyes so she can ensnare the best possible man. And, from my perspective, this is not a problem. In a world where women are dependent on men, that's a good use of a woman's energy.
But it is not good use of energy for women who are interested in enlightenment. Why? Because the energy of enlightenment precludes the energy of manipulation. If you expend your energy on manipulating men, you will not have the prerequisite energy to wake up. It takes a tremendous amount of power to become enlightened, so it's necessary for you to examine this tendency in yourself and eradicate it.
Women also need to learn to be more unattached. There's this idea that women are more emotional than men--and that's how they act--but they are not. It's actually quite the opposite. Men are much more emotional. They love more quickly than women do. They feel more devastated when a relationship falls apart. All in all, what I'm suggesting is that the way we see men and women outwardly, the way they act in society, is not the way they really are inwardly. Everything in this age is reversed, and that's why not so many people in this world attain enlightenment.
As a man, you should find enlightenment in this age quite easy. This is still the age of men. But the age of women is just around the corner. don't be afraid to change. And the most basic change each of you must make in this incarnation has to do with your sexual identity."
